American Changer builds the AC series of bill changers, token dispensers, and bill breakers used across arcades, family entertainment centers, laundromats, car washes, vending routes, and campgrounds. We stock the AC line by model number, and this page covers the full range we carry.
The AC series breaks down into a few families. Bill changers give coins or bills in exchange for notes and include the AC101, AC105, AC201, AC205, AC500, AC1000 through AC1005, AC2000 through AC2009, AC2221, AC2225, and AC8002, in both front load and rear load cabinets. Token dispensers cover the AC250, AC250-CRR with card reader, AC2006, AC2007, and AC2207. Bill breakers, for turning larger notes into smaller ones, include the AC7712, AC7715, AC7812, AC7815, and the AC7914 Ultimate. Floor models include the AC6000 and AC6007. Ticket dispensers include the AC110 and AC111, and pre-valued card dispensers cover the AC501, AC502, AC505, AC603, AC604, and AC605 in BN, CC, and BNCC configurations. We also carry the CC-301 coin counter.
Front load versus rear load is a cabinet decision. Front load machines are serviced from the customer side and suit wall recesses and enclosed rooms, while rear load machines are serviced from behind and are common in wall pass-throughs between a back room and the customer area. Confirm which your installation uses before ordering.
Common questions about American Changer AC machines
- What is the difference between a bill changer and a bill breaker? A changer dispenses coins or tokens. A breaker returns smaller denominations of currency.
- Front load or rear load? Front load is serviced from the customer side, rear load from behind the wall.
- Which model for a laundromat? Most laundries use the AC1000 series or AC2000 series bill changers. Tell us your note volume and coin capacity needs and we will spec it.
- Need parts or a hopper for an existing AC machine? Contact us with the model number and we will source it.
