Pyramid Technologies builds the Apex series, a compact bill acceptor family used across amusement, vending, kiosk, and self-service equipment. This collection covers the Apex 7000-series units we stock, including the 7400, 7401, 7402, and 7600 models.

The practical differences between them come down to interface and bezel. Listings here include MDB and 12V configurations, standard bezels, Coinco-style bezels for drop-in replacement of older Coinco units, and VFM bezels — plus currency-specific builds such as Dominican Republic and Bahamas versions. The -UB1, -UB3, and -UB4 suffixes denote the interface and configuration, so confirm the full part number rather than the model family alone.

Apex acceptors are a common upgrade path when an older validator is no longer supported, particularly where the existing bezel and mounting need to stay in place.
