The Pyramid Platinum is Pyramid Technologies' next-generation bill acceptor, built for 24/7 use in amusement, skill game, kiosk, gaming, and vending equipment. Every Platinum accepts $1, $5, $10, $20, $50, and $100 bills, uses UV validation and dual-stage anti-stringing, and auto-calibrates so it never needs manual calibration.
Platinum has no DIP switches. Firmware and settings load from a USB flash drive or a PC using Pyramid's free Platinum Tools software. The models here differ by power and interface: the PT1-LB1-USA runs on 12V DC, the PT1-LB3-USA on 120V AC, and the PT1-LB4-USA is the MDB (24V DC) version for vending. All three use a lockable 500-note cash box.
