Pulse Bill Acceptors & Validators

Pulse is the simplest interface a bill acceptor can use: the validator sends a set number of credit pulses to the host board for each bill it accepts, with no two-way communication. That makes pulse units the default choice for amusement and arcade games, car wash controllers, jukeboxes, pool tables, and any standalone machine that only needs to know how much money went in.

This collection covers the pulse-configured acceptors we stock — ICT A6E, L70, LX7, PA7, S7A, V7, and XBA validators, Pyramid Apex 7400 and 7600 units in -UB1 and -UB3 configurations, and MEI Talos amusement models. Voltages range from 12V to 110V, with capacities from stackerless designs up to 800-note stackers, and standard, downstack, and fitted bezel options.

Pulse is not interchangeable with MDB or serial interfaces, so confirm your machine's board expects pulse before ordering — a validator built for MDB will not drop credits on a pulse harness. Pulse rate and accepted denominations are typically set with DIP switches on the unit.
