Talos T8 Series

The MEI Talos T8 is the higher-capacity amusement validator in the Talos family, used where note volume is heavy enough that a T6 needs emptying too often. It shares the Talos platform and part-number logic, so if you already run Talos units the T8 will feel familiar.

Models we stock include the T811, T812, T831, T881, and T8T1. As with the T6, the suffix after the dash — U5EUS, U7EUS, U10EUS, U5MUS, U10MUS, and D7EUS — sets the cash box and interface configuration, and it is the part that determines whether a unit drops into your cabinet. Match the full part number from the label rather than the model number alone.

If you are not sure whether your cabinet needs a T6 or a T8, the deciding factor is usually how often you are emptying the box today. Send us your machine type and note volume and we will tell you which one makes sense. Vending Talos units are on our Talos T7 Series page.

Common questions about the MEI Talos T8

• T6 or T8? Choose the T8 when note volume means you are emptying a T6 more often than you would like.
• Is the T8 for amusement? Yes. The T7 is the vending family.
• What does the suffix mean? It sets the cash box and interface configuration.
• Where is the part number? On the label on the side of the validator head.
